PERSTIMA Berhad commences commercial production on 2 April 1982, total production capacity of 200,000 MT per annum. The plant is located in Pasir Gudang Industrial Estate Johor, Malaysia

PERSTIMA (VIETNAM) Co., Ltd established as first tinplate manufacturer in Vietnam, located in VSIP in Binh Duong Province

2003
PERSTIMA (VIETNAM) Co., Ltd commences commercial production in October 2003 with Halogen type Continuous Electrolytic Line, total production capacity of 120,000 MT per annum

2005
PERSTIMA Berhad is ISO 14001 certified

2008
PERSTIMA (VIETNAM) Co., Ltd commences production for Tin Free SteelPERSTIMA (VIETNAM) Co. Ltd. started its production for Tin Free Steel.

2011

PERSTIMA Berhad installs COGEN (Combined Generator)
PERSTIMA (VIETNAM) Co., Ltd is ISO 9001 certified

PERSTIMA Berhad switches to MSA (Methane Sulphuric Acid) process, the latest technology in electro-tinning

PERSTIMA (PHILIPPINES), Inc established in the Philippines, located in LISP IV in Malvar, Batangas
